Tahereh joined Imperial College Health Partners in June 2019 as Discover-NOW Clinical Research Project Manager, she is now our Head of Partnerships and Analytics. In her role, Tahereh is responsible for delivery and management of clinical research studies within the Discover-NOW infrastructure.  This unique Health Data Research Hub for Real World Evidence in the UK provides access to Europe’s largest linked longitudinal costed de-identified dataset of over 2.6 million patients in NWL and hence enables acceleration of retrospective and prospective clinical research, expediting discovery of improved clinical outcomes for patients.

Most recently, Tahereh held the position of Global Project Manager at a leading clinical trial support organization where she led cross-functional teams to deliver international projects. Tahereh has extensive experience in drug discovery and held the position of Team Leader and Hon. Senior Lecturer in Cancer Therapeutics at University College London, where she led and managed independent translational research teams in drug and biomarker discovery programmes in oncology and autoimmune disease.  Her research has culminated in one spin-off company and several patents.

Tahereh holds a BSc in Biochemistry from University of London and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
