Fiona joined ICHP in January 2021.
Fiona’s background is in social research. She headed up a research team at nfpSynergy; a consultancy that supports non-profit organisations. Fiona developed recommendations to inform charities’ strategies on funding (grant-making, voluntary donations, growing supporters), campaigning, communications and volunteering.
Prior to joining ICHP, Fiona was a Social Innovation Fellow on Year Here; a postgraduate course designed to cultivate entrepreneurial approaches to entrenched social problems. Her focus was on health inequalities, where she worked as a data analyst across the Bromley By Bow Health Partnership in East London; supporting the Population Health team to become more data-driven.
Fiona is co-founder of the social enterprise Pocket Power, which tackles the poverty premium by supporting social housing residents to get better deals on their household bills.
