Carolyn Regan

Chief Executive of West London Mental Health NHS Trust

Biography

In December 2015, Carolyn Regan was appointed as Chief Executive of West London Mental Health NHS Trust, one of the most diverse trusts in the UK.

She is also currently Chair of the London Mental Health Payment and Outcomes Transformation Board which reports to the London Mental Health Transformation Board.

Carolyn is a highly experienced chief executive, both within the healthcare sector and the justice system. She established the West London Clinical Commissioning Group in 2012 after spending four years as Chief Executive of the Legal Service Commission.

Prior to this, Carolyn was a chief executive at a number of NHS strategic organisations, including North East London Strategic Health Authority, East London and the City Health Authority and West Hertfordshire Health Authority.

She has many years of NHS strategic and operational experience in acute, community and mental health services and also in the charitable sector in the UK and internationally.

Carolyn is currently the Chair of Trustees of Just for Kids Law – a charity that provides advocacy, support and assistance to young people and children in difficulty – and a board member of the Press Recognition Panel.
