Senior Innovation Manager - Medicines Optimisation

Biography

Annette joined Imperial College Health Partners as Medicines Optimisation Programme Manager in October 2018 and is now a Senior Innovation Manager for Medicines Optimisation. In her role, Annette leads on driving forward Medicines Optimisation Programmes, predominantly TCAM (transfer of care around medicines), PINCER (improving prescribing in GP practices) and improving the atrial fibrillation care pathway.

Prior to joining the Partnership, Annette has spent her career in hospital pharmacy management across the acute, mental health and independent sectors. Annette has held senior roles as a Chief Pharmacist and leading on service integration and medication safety projects. She has worked on projects ranging from setting up a surgical centre to outpatient services to domiciliary care. Annette has practised as a Pharmacist in the UK for most of her career, having originally qualified in New Zealand.

She brings a range of skills, particularly from her Nye Bevan Executive Healthcare Leadership programme, including Project Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Change Management, and Governance. Annette has a Master in Pharmacy Practice from University of London, a Master in Business Administration from Kingston University and a Diploma in Pharmacy Procurement and Logistics.
